What is Hex™? Is it something I should be using?
Hex™ Technology is superior, closed cell foam padding, uniquely and permanently bonded to our high quality hDc™ moisture management fabric. This provides superior protection and durability for athletes involved in contact or collision sports.
What's the difference between HEX™ and TEFLX™ protection?
Both HEX™ and TEFLX™ provide top-rated protection against contact. Hex is the original integrated protective apparel featuring our patented technology (which is also built into Teflx). The primary difference is durability. Hex is designed to perform best during repeated body-to-body contact. 

Teflx is at its best during frequent body-to-hard-and-court-surface contact. Teflx is resistant to burning, shearing and tearing and is also an excellent choice for youth athletes who hit the floor regularly. Hex and Teflx are available in many forms, including leg sleeves (6446X) and versatile elbow/knee/shin pads (6440X). Next question.
How do I know what McDavid brace/support is right for me?
McDavid helps you find the right support by:
1. Body Part – The area of the body that needs protection/support
2. Protection Level – The severity of the injury and the level of protection/support needed
3. Size – Size guides provide direction for the best fit

How do I know what size to order?
Our website has a detailed sizing guide on each product page for each McDavid product.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
How should I clean McDavid SportMed™ items?
To extend the life of your McDavid product, hand wash your wrap, strap, sleeve, support (remember to take the hinges out), using a mild detergent, and allow to air dry.
How do I care for my Hex™ and/or compression gear?
Hex is designed specifically to be machine washed and dried. Use a mild detergent in cold water and low dryer heat. Do not use bleach and do not iron or dry clean your Hex gear.
ORDERS/SHIPPING
Can I order over the phone?
McDavid does not take consumer orders over the phone at this time. Place your order via our secure website, or by using our store finder on the homepage.
When does my order ship?
All orders for in-stock products are shipped out of the McDavid warehouse within 1-3 business days.
The product I want to order is out of stock. When will it be available?
Contact Customer Service (800.237.8254) for the next available ship date, or a suggestion of a comparable item.
Can I add something to an existing order?
Once you submit your order, you cannot add any new items. If you need more gear, please place a new order.
How do I get free shipping for my order?
Your order travels for free if the order total is greater than $50 (before taxes and shipping costs). Such orders will be shipped with standard ground shipping. Free shipping is only available for orders shipped within the United States and Puerto Rico.
RETURNS
How do I return or exchange a product?
If you are not pleased with your merchandise for reasons pertaining to size, fit or quality defects, you may return the product within 30 days of receipt for a refund. Products must be in resalable condition and be returned with an original sales receipt or other proof of purchase. No credit will be issued for shipping charges unless the product is defective or an incorrect item was shipped.
Exchanges:
If you would like a different item than you ordered, please return the original item and place a new order on our website. You will receive a credit for the returned product as noted above.

Please submit the online RETURNS REQUEST FORM, then print and fill out this RETURNS SLIP and include it with your shipment of the returned product(s).
How long does it take to process my return?
A credit will be issued to your credit card within 1 to 2 weeks of receipt of the product.

You can be athletic for your entire life, but your gear can’t be.

At McDavid, our return policy is liberal, generous and tolerant, but it does have its limits! We understand that putting a specific time limit on all returns is not reasonable, as usage and seasons vary greatly. Plus, we realize that everyone’s idea of “reasonable wear and tear” also varies.

If our gear fails to deliver, we will fully stand behind that product. If it fails to deliver on its one thousand and first wearing, we would consider that “reasonable wear and tear.” Rather than shutting the door on returns after 30 days, we prefer to be flexible and judge each situation individually.

Guarantee:
McDavid is confident that the product you have just purchased is of the highest quality and product standard. If there is an issue with the materials or workmanship of the product, return it to McDavid for a full replacement. Need to make a return? See Returns/Exchanges above, for more info.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
I don’t live in the U.S. Can I still order McDavid products?
Although McDavid USA does not ship outside of the U.S. except for Canada, you can order directly from McDavid’s international distributors. 
Custom Duties
All orders shipping to Canada are subject to custom duties. Any duties therein are the sole responsibility of the customer upon package delivery. Call Customer Service (800.237.8254) for more info.
