I'm looking at your item #199 lightweight ankle brace for my son for football. I would like to know what size my son needs. His shoe size is 12-15 depending on how shoe is made....his football cleats are 14's. What size ankle brace should I order for him??

According to the laced ankle size chart - which can be found by searching the item number in the site search box, and then clicking on the "View Sizing Chart" tab below the product image - your son will need an XL. Keep in mind that the laces will allow him to customize the tightness/fit.

Hello, I am interested in purchasing your ankle brace 199R for my son to use
during football season. He wears a size 13 shoe and would take the
Large size. He injured his ankle (he's a lineman and two opponents fell on
top of his ankle at the same time) near the end of last season and was in a
walking cast. He also plays ice hockey, so his feet are constantly under
pressure to perform. My question is, what is the difference between the
199T and the 199R Lightweight Ankle Braces? I am assuming that the T may
stand for tall and the R for regular, but I could be wrong. If you could clarify this
for me I would appreciate it. My son, at 15, is 6'4," 217 lbs. and has longer
than average legs. ( I know that I waited too long to buy these since he's been
practicing for 3 weeks.) Thanks!

Cathy,
It sounds like your son is quite the athlete. Thanks for choosing McDavid.
There is no difference between product in the 199R and the 199T. The R
and the T are actually only for internal use. It simply describes the type of
packaging that the product is shipped in. R is a retail clamshell, and T is
a team pack poly bag.

Thank you for clarifying that for me. I've had a few interpretations (all of
them different).
