Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from I have tendinitis badly in I have tendinitis badly in my right arm. My pain level was through the roof until I purchased this brace. I was really skeptical that something like this could help me. However, this brace has been wonderful. It has alleviated a great deal of the pain. I was hesitant to pay $24.00 for it at my local sporting goods store, but after using it for about a month now, I would value it at a hundred times that cost. The relief has been, and continues to be just amazing. I'm very happy with this brace and highly recommend it for anyone suffering with repetitive motion injury, tennis elbow, golf elbow or tendinitis. It's well worth it's weight in gold.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Nate from Love it Suffered from epicondylitis for several years to the point where I could no longer do upper body workouts. Finally got the condition under control but workouts re-inflamed until I started wearing these. They are excellent and provide just the right pressure in the right places. Never workout without them. I use them several times per week and they lasted about 2 years before the velcro would no longer hold well enough. I have no issues with that. They have been very durable and I think 1-2 years is a good lifespan for as much as i use them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mandy Danish from I was never diagnosed with I was never diagnosed with any type of tennis elbow, but growing up horse back riding, playing sports and constant heavy lifting, my one elbow constantly cracks and tends to get pain on and off. I noticed i needed extra support when shooting archery as the pain tends to flare up most at that time. I purchased this brace and couldn't be happier. I can shoot targets a lot longer than I could without it and it relieves all the pain throughout the shoot. It was worth every penny!

I have "tennis elbow" it has plague me off and on for about five years now. I have tried other " braces, straps" by nike, mueller and other brands. This McDavid 489r is hands down the best. The 489r is the easiest to put on and adjust. I felt immediate relief and I am able to wear it all the time because it does not cut the blood flow like some of the other straps did. The shape of the strap allows one to easily bend arm complete inwards towards the body. I would recommend strap(489r) over strap (486), I have not tried strap 486, but I have tried other brands shaped like it. They all seemed to restrict blood flow and hurt when bending arm inward. So in closing I would pay the extra cost( I paid $23 sports authority) for the pain relief and comfort, wearability, and ease of putting on. Hope this helps. GABE USMC RET
